Whether your event is taking place in a garden, school field, sports club or community hall, our Bouncy Castles are available for birthdays, school events, christenings, family gatherings and local celebrations throughout the area.

South Gloucestershire parties with bigger inflatable energy

Some events need something colourful and straightforward, while others call for larger inflatables that immediately become the centre of attention. The 3D Dinosaur Front Slide Combo (15ft x 12ft) is especially popular for energetic parties where children want more than just bouncing, while the 3D Unicorn Front Slide Combo (15ft x 12ft) adds bright themed fun alongside extra activity.

For more traditional party setups, the Multi Coloured Party Theme Bouncy Castle (12ft x 12ft) and Red & Blue Party Theme Bouncy Castle (12ft x 12ft) remain reliable favourites for family celebrations throughout South Gloucestershire.

Indoor and outdoor events in South Gloucestershire

South Gloucestershire offers a huge variety of event spaces, from village halls and local clubs to large gardens and school venues. Many of our inflatables are suitable for indoor or outdoor use depending on available space, making them flexible options for events throughout the year.

Some customers book Bouncy Castles for summer garden parties, while others choose indoor hall hire during cooler months when keeping plans weather-proof feels like the safer bounce.

Entertainment options for different age groups

Not every party guest wants the same type of entertainment, especially when toddlers and older children are attending together. That is why many South Gloucestershire families combine inflatables with Soft Play or add Didi Cars for younger children.

For larger celebrations, Party Packages can help bring everything together into one simpler booking, particularly for community events and bigger birthday gatherings.

Bouncy Castle Hire South Gloucestershire FAQs

Bouncy castle hire in South Gloucestershire covers a broad mix of locations and event settings, from children's parties at home to village halls, schools, community events and larger family occasions. Because sites can vary considerably, choosing the right inflatable often means thinking about access, available grass, venue dimensions and the other activities taking place on the day. These FAQs cover some of the practical questions that arise when arranging a South Gloucestershire booking.

Do you deliver bouncy castles throughout South Gloucestershire?

Our regular delivery service includes several locations within and around South Gloucestershire, including Bradley Stoke, Yate, Thornbury and nearby communities. We also deliver to places such as Bristol and Keynsham.

If your event is in a smaller village or somewhere between our main service locations, contact us with the postcode and we can check the booking details.

Are village halls suitable for bouncy castle hire?

Many are, but the room dimensions need to be checked before choosing the inflatable. Floor space is only one part of the calculation; ceiling height, beams, lighting and other fittings can determine which bouncy castles can actually be installed.

It is also worth asking the hall when suppliers can enter. A venue that only opens its doors at the advertised party start time may not leave enough time for installation.

What should I do before you arrive for a garden setup?

The intended setup area should be clear before delivery. Remove garden furniture, toys, paddling pools and anything else occupying the grass where the inflatable needs to go.

Please also clear animal mess from the area and make sure the route from the vehicle to the garden is accessible.

Outdoor inflatables are installed on suitable natural grass only.

Does having a large garden mean I can hire any bouncy castle?

Not necessarily. A large lawn is helpful, but access also matters. The packed inflatable still needs to pass through gates, pathways and any other restrictions between our vehicle and the setup point.

Most inflatables need approximately 2.6ft of access width, while some larger equipment requires more.

Where both space and access are generous, our 15x12ft Bouncy Castles and larger slide-based options may be worth considering.

Which bouncy castle might suit a smaller South Gloucestershire garden?

Our 12x12ft Bouncy Castles can provide useful options where space is more restricted.

Remember that a 12ft x 12ft inflatable requires more than a 12ft x 12ft patch of grass. Extra room is needed for safe installation, the blower and surrounding clearance.

Can I hire one of your 3D bouncy castles?

Yes. Customers wanting something visually different from a traditional party bouncy castle can choose from themed 3D designs.

The 3D Unicorn Bouncy Castle is one option, while the 3D Jungle Bouncy Castle offers a different theme for children's events.

Because decorative 3D sections can add height, check venue clearance particularly carefully when these bouncy castles are being used indoors.

Can I choose a bouncy castle with both bouncing and sliding?

Yes. Bounce and slide bouncy castles provide two activities within the same inflatable and can work particularly well for children who enjoy more active play.

For example, the 3D Dinosaur Front Slide Combo combines a themed bouncing area with a front slide.

The required footprint is different from a standard bouncy castle, so allow for the complete slide section when measuring your site.

How can I cater for toddlers and older children at one event?

A separate toddler area can work better than expecting every child to use the same inflatable. Soft Play can provide age-appropriate entertainment for younger children at suitable indoor events.

For a broader setup, Party Packages combine different activities within one booking and can be useful for birthdays and family celebrations with a varied age range.

Could Didi Cars be included at an indoor event?

Yes. Didi Cars can be added where there is sufficient smooth, hard indoor flooring.

They should have their own clear operating area and are not suitable for grass, so they work best alongside indoor rather than garden setups.

What happens if there is no convenient electricity socket?

A bouncy castle blower needs a continuous power supply while the inflatable is operating. For venues or larger event sites where standard mains power is not practical, alternative power arrangements may sometimes be required.

Any generator, blower or electrical equipment supplied by Jump N Joy Castles must remain where our team positions it. Customers should not move or disconnect this equipment.

Can I switch the bouncy castle off while everyone is eating?

You should not disconnect or switch off the blower yourself. The inflatable should remain under the setup arrangements established by our team until collection or until we provide different instructions.

Nobody must be allowed onto an inflatable while it is inflating or deflating.

Who is responsible for supervising a South Gloucestershire hire?

A responsible adult aged 18 or over must supervise the equipment whenever it is being used.

This involves controlling numbers, preventing overcrowding and stopping unsafe behaviour rather than merely being present at the event.

Children should also be separated by similar age and size where appropriate.

Can children sit on the inflatable walls while waiting for their turn?

No. Children must not sit, climb or hang on the walls or roof of a bouncy castle.

The front step is for entering and leaving rather than bouncing. Somersaults, wrestling and rough play are also prohibited.

What should stay outside the bouncy castle?

Shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges and sharp objects need to be removed before use. Food, drinks and chewing gum should never be taken onto the inflatable.

We also prohibit face paint, glitter, confetti and silly string because these materials can stain or damage the equipment.

A £50 cleaning charge may apply where excessive cleaning is required because the hire rules have not been followed.

What happens if there is accidental damage?

Tell us promptly if anything happens to the equipment. Where damage results from negligence, misuse or malicious behaviour, the hirer can be responsible for the resulting repair or replacement costs.

PIPA-tested inflatables requiring repairs are dealt with through the appropriate approved inspection process.

Are outdoor hires available during winter?

No. Our outdoor inflatable season does not operate from October through to March.

Indoor halls and venues are therefore the main option during this period, subject to having suitable dimensions and flooring.

What happens if summer weather becomes unsafe?

Weather conditions are assessed from a safety perspective. Rain covers on some bouncy castles can help with light showers, but they do not change safe wind limits or make equipment suitable for severe weather.

If conditions prevent safe outdoor operation, alternatives may include moving indoors, changing equipment or rearranging the date where circumstances permit. When we cancel an outdoor booking because weather makes operation unsafe, the deposit is refunded.

Can I change the delivery address after booking?

Contact us before making the change final. A new address may affect the delivery route, access, surface suitability and whether the equipment selected will fit.

If the event moves from a garden to a hall, for example, we will also need the indoor floor and ceiling dimensions.

What if the party finishes earlier than expected?

Leave the inflatable installed and wait for our agreed collection. Customers should not deflate, move or dismantle the equipment themselves.

Only authorised Jump N Joy Castles team members will collect hired equipment. If somebody arrives unexpectedly claiming to represent us, contact us before releasing anything.

What safety credentials come with the hire?

Jump N Joy Castles carries £5 million Public Liability Insurance. Relevant bouncy castles are PIPA tested, regularly inspected and checked prior to hire.

Our team also handles delivery and professional installation before the equipment is handed over for supervised use.

How is a South Gloucestershire booking confirmed?

Bookings are made through the website. A £20 deposit is required to secure the chosen bouncy castle and date, and equipment cannot be reserved until that payment has been received.

The remaining balance is normally payable on delivery.
