Its lower profile may make it suitable for some halls that cannot accommodate a taller inflatable, although you will still need to check the venue's full measurements and required clearance before booking.

Soft play is for indoor use only, making it a practical choice for birthdays throughout autumn and winter. It also works well in a hall where adults can sit nearby and supervise while children enjoy the equipment.
If older siblings are attending, you can consider a separate activity for them rather than having children of very different ages sharing the same play space.
Bring More Than One Activity to Your Indoor Party
A mixed-age party can be easier to organise when different activities have their own clearly defined spaces. Younger guests can enjoy the soft play while older children use a suitable bouncy castle or ride-on equipment elsewhere in the venue.
Our 4 x Didi Cars offer another indoor activity for children old enough to use them. For a larger riding area, we also have 6 x Didi Cars & Race Track. Didi Cars must be used on smooth, hard indoor flooring, so they are not suitable for grass or carpeted areas that prevent them from moving properly.

What to Check Before Booking a Hall
Finding a local hall is a useful first step, but not every venue can accommodate every piece of equipment. Before paying a deposit for your venue, check the following:
- Floor space: Ask for the usable room dimensions, allowing for tables, chairs, doors and walkways.
- Ceiling height: Confirm the lowest clear height, including any beams, lights or other overhead fittings.
- Access: Make sure there is a suitable route for bringing the equipment into the room.
- Flooring: If you want Didi Cars, check that there is a smooth, hard indoor surface available.
- Venue permission: Confirm that the hall allows bouncy castles or soft play, depending on your booking.
- Power: Check that a suitable electrical supply is available for any inflatable equipment.
